🌟 Golden Wishes Come True for Margaret & Pauline 🌟

At Park Lane Healthcare, our motto has always been “Making New Memories”, and we live by it every day—promoting happiness, engagement, and a fulfilling life for everyone in our care.

Earlier this year, we launched a truly heartwarming campaign called Golden Wishes, designed to help our residents live out their dreams and passions. Residents can nominate themselves or be nominated by others to receive a special Golden Wish—and we’re thrilled to share one very special story with you today!

👭 Best friends Margaret and Pauline, from Magnolia House, were nominated for a wish that has been close to their hearts for quite some time. Since visiting our sister care home, The Hall in Thornton-le-Dale, last year, they’ve spoken often about how much they adore the picturesque village. It captured their hearts, and they dreamed of returning for a holiday.

So—we made it happen! ✨

Margaret and Pauline enjoyed a wonderful mini break, staying at The Hall. Not only did they get to explore the village they love (including a stop at Pauline’s favourite duck pond 🦆), but they also reunited with the friends they made there. Over the past year, they’ve exchanged letters and gifts with residents at The Hall, and this visit gave them a chance to strengthen those beautiful friendships in person.

The staff and residents at The Hall were delighted to welcome them and were sad to see them go—but there are already plans for more visits in the near future!
